Article Recommendation: "Why Managing Work-Life Balance is Harder Than Ever"
This article focuses on a recent global survey of almost 10,000 workers by EY that looked at work-life balance issues. One of the most surprising findings to me was that “…U.S. men were more likely to change jobs or give up a promotion to manage their work-life balance than women, saying they would more likely be willing to move to be closer to family or take a pay cut to get more flexibility.” Work-life balance is a challenge that affects us all (it’s not just a female employee issue) and it’s interesting to observe the shifts in employee and company expectations as we move deeper into the 21st century.
