Book Review: "The Sleep Revolution, Transforming Your Life, One Night at a Time ” By Arianna Huffington
The latest book from Arianna Huffington, published in April this year, looks at the impact of sleep deprivation on our lives, on our health, job performance, relationships, and happiness. Being tired is a huge issue that’s taking its toll on way too many people. I recently saw a Facebook post from Sheryl Sandberg in which she noted that there are 24 million photos on Instagram with the hashtag #tired. She also noted that if you type, “why am I…” into Google the first thing that shows up on autocomplete is “why am I tired”. If you’re one of the millions of people who regularly feel overly tired then grab a copy of Ms. Huffington’s book and, if you can stay awake, take on board the recommendations and apply what you can to your own life – you owe it to yourself.
